FAQ

Which devices work?
You can use Deckmon on a PC, tablet, or phone. On anything other than a PC, turn the play screen sideways. Very small screens may not show the play screen correctly.
The screen will not rotate
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Control Center (or Quick Settings).
  2. If rotation lock is on, turn it off.
  3. Rotate the screen again and check.

If it still will not rotate

Check that auto-rotate is not turned off in the device settings.

Can I use it without signing in?
Yes. Signing in is optional. Card search, the deck builder, the deck list, and the play screen all work without an account.
Where are decks saved?
Without an account, the deck list (names, deck codes, and so on) stays in this browser. A 60-card list is stored as a deck code when you save. Sign in with Google and the list also syncs to the cloud, so you can open it on another phone or computer.
The play screen is hard to use on a phone
Add Deckmon to your Home Screen to open it like an app, without the browser around it. That helps when you play often. See Add to Home Screen for the steps. A PC or tablet is easier because the screen is larger.
How do I delete my account?

While you are signed in, delete the account from Settings. The option is hidden when you are signed out. Deleting removes the decks we store for you.

Add to Home Screen

Add Deckmon to your Home Screen to open it like an app, without a browser tab. That is useful when you play often.

  • iPhone (Chrome)

    1. Open Deckmon in Chrome.
    2. Tap the share button.
    3. Tap Show More.
    4. Choose Add to Home Screen and follow the prompts.

  • iPhone (Safari)

    1. Open Deckmon in Safari.
    2. Tap the more button.
    3. Tap the share button.
    4. Tap Show More.
    5. Choose Add to Home Screen and follow the prompts.

  • Android (Chrome)

    1. Open Deckmon in Chrome.
    2. Tap the browser menu.
    3. Choose Add to Home Screen or Install app.
    4. Follow the prompts to add it.

Menu names can differ by browser and OS version. On Android Chrome, an Install app banner may also appear.
